So Sonar by Cakewalk was a bust. I got the keygen to work and everything but it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I DL'd FL Studio for my second shot at this.

It amazes me how easy it is to get a hold of software like this. 4 or 500 dollar stuff can be free with a few clicks. That is probably the reason everything is so damn expensive. With everyone pirating their software, places have to make the legit copies they do sell count. I kind of get that, but I sure am glad I know my way around serial numbers and authentication road blocks.

I feel really sorry for the people who end up spending thousands of dollars in software that may end up being a bust. I work retail at Staples and if you buy some software and for some reason it does not work on your machine, you are fucked. If the plastic wrap on the outside of the box is even off, you are stuck with it.
