We'll today was going to be one of those days where I try to do something with my computer and fail miserably, leading to a reinstall of Ubuntu. But I can't even get to that point.

Today I was going to try to hackintosh my Compaq and see how well I could get it to work. The trouble is that all the walk-through videos want you to buy the stuff they bought so you can configure the BIOS the exact same way they did. With this PC, I am not able to tweak the BIOS as much as they are, obviously causing some issues.

I guess I'm just going to install XP on this desktop with Ubuntu Server on it.
